Get in touch with Pequot Development Associates, and we'll help you select
and create the ideal house plan for your new home. Within several days
we'll even prepare an estimate for construction cost based on actual home
cost, from current projects underway. This enables us to give our
clients a firm quote with no worry of going over budget on the fixed
costs.
Architectural Drawings and House Plans
Architectural drawings and detailed house plans usually take about 30
days. You'll need to make a design deposit which is credited towards the
purchase price.
Construction Costs
Once your architectural drawings and detailed house specifications are complete
construction costs can be finalized. It normally takes only several
weeks to get firm construction bids from our contractors.
New Home Financing
If you plan to finance your new home and have been pre-approved, it
usually takes four to six weeks to close the loan. Mortgage lenders
will want to have your final blueprint drawings and firm construction
bids from us and a building permit prior to final loan closing. Pequot Development Associates has
relationships with various lenders, if you have not already located one.
Building Permits
Pequot Development Associates technical and
construction staff will work together to apply for and expedite local
building permits. Normally this process takes two to four weeks after
submission of building plans.
New Home
Construction
Plan on eight to nine months to complete most single family home
designs, and more time for larger and multi-structure designs. Contact
us for status of available homes currently under construction, many in
various stages of completion with occupancy in one to four months.
